Speakers Bureau Member
Do you love public speaking? This is an opportunity to learn how to educate our neighbors about refugees and immigrants, World Relief, and other related topics. We are looking for volunteers who feel passionate about advocacy to help speak out for the rights of refugees and immigrants!
Immigration Legal Services
Assist immigrants in filling out citizenship applications at our large workshops, or help with community outreach. Bilingual or semi-bilingual volunteers are especially needed. Training provided.
Citizenship Classroom Aide
Brush up on your American history and help immigrants prepare for their citizenship interview and exam. Classes are held weekday mornings and afternoons throughout the year.

ESL Classroom Aide
Assist our English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers as they teach English to adult refugees and immigrants. Classes are held weekday mornings and afternoons throughout the year.
ESL In-Home Tutor
Help teach the basics of English to an adult refugee in their home and become friends in the process!
ESL Early Childhood Aide
Care for refugee infants, toddlers, and young children and spend your morning singing, telling stories, making crafts, and playing. Classes held concurrently with ESL morning classes in Wheaton.
Put your organizational skills to use and help with crucial administrative duties that keep the World Relief office running smoothly.
Event Planning Assistant
World Relief puts on various events throughout the year and is always looking for volunteers with the gift of planning and organization. If you love hospitality we would love to include you in our event planning!
